Uniquely situated just a few steps from the Nantes Brest Canal, La Maison du Canal offers an exceptionally high standard of bed and breakfast accommodation in Central Britttany. With beautiful canal views, our accomodation offers a delicious continental breakfast alongside modern and stylish guest accommodation, with a choice of evening meals for those who prefer dining in.
Just a short distance from the nearby market towns of Rostrenen and Carhaix you can visit a variety of restaurants, specialist shops, markets and café bars. Many people visit especially for the wide range of outdoor activities availble in the area such as cycling, walking, fishing, pony trekking, canoeing and sailing, all of which are within easy reach of La Maison du Canal. Bikes, canoes and fishing rods are available for the use of guests and a riding stable is conveniently situated immediately behind the property.
La Maison du Canal is family and dog friendly and a great place to take a break.

Our Accomodation...
With year-round overnight accomodation available, we also offer the opportunity for our guests to dine with us in the evenings as well as at breakfast time. Our spacious dining room allows up to 14 guests to dine together in a traditional yet informal setting where everyone is sure to feel at home.

Join us between 8.30 and 9.30am for a delicious continental breakfast including a selection of fruit juices and freshly brewed tea and coffee which can be enjoyed in our dining room or out in the garden on the guest's patio.
Ask us about our evening menu - it changes regularly to make sure we get the best from seasonal local produce. Three course menu for €22, including wine. Childrens menu available.
